Prof. V. Sivalogathasan

Prof. V. Sivalogathasan, is a Professor in Management Studies and Founder Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies, and Former Head of the Department of Management Studies, the Open University of Sri Lanka. He has a B. Com (Hons) from University of Peradeniya, MBA in International Business from AIT, Thailand and Ph.D in Innovation Management at Zhejiang University, China. Prof. V. Sivalogathasan has spent several years as a Human Resource Manager at International Organizations. He was an Assistant Registrar at the Vavuniya Campus of the University of Jaffna and Assistant Lecturer at Department of Management Studies, University of Peradeniya.

His career objective is to become a high calibre professional in the field of Innovation management, Human resources management, Entrepreneurship and Small Business and Oganizational behaviour.  His strengths are Education and Experience, Honest & Positive, Hardworking, Committed, Enthusiastic, Faithful & Team worker and Multi culture experience. He has been awarded a several scholarships for his Undergraduate study as well as postgraduate studies. He has more than 24 years’ experience on both government and non-government sectors in multidiscipline aspects. He has been edited and published many research papers (70) which were published at International and National research publications and many more articles (15) in newspapers and magazines. He has published several (6) books. He has written more than ten (12) course materials for higher education.
